Ashraya Dhama, located in Maddur of Mandya district, was founded in 1997 with a simple yet powerful vision – to provide a safe home for children who had nowhere else to go. What begins as an effort to shelter just three homeless children gradually grew into a compassionate space dedicated to care, dignity, and opportunity. Over the past 29 years, the organization has supported and nurtured more than 200 children, many of whom have grown into independent individuals contributing positively to society.

At Ashraya Dhama, care goes far beyond basic necessities such as food, shelter, and clothing. The organization creates a nurturing environment where children receive education, emotional support, and opportunities for holistic development so they can build confident and meaningful futures. Alongside children, the organization also extends its services to elderly individuals who lack family support, offering them a dignified life filled with care and companionship. The trust further reaches out to marginalized women and vulnerable community members, responding to social challenges with empathy and practical support.
